MEDIBILLERS TO PROVIDE ONLINE TRAINING FOR HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS THROUGH iQLEARNING WEB PORTAL
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. and PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - July 9, 2002 - Innovex, a commercialization unit of Quintiles Transnational Corp. (Nasdaq: QTRN), and MediBillers Inc., today announced the signing of an agreement to distribute MediBillers' online training programs through Innovex's portal, iQLearning.com. This healthcare Web portal also enables Quintiles' other U.S.-based commercial, clinical and consulting service groups to communicate and conduct business with physicians and customers in an online environment.

MediBillers' courseware includes regularly updated on-line training for healthcare provider staff in improving customer service, managing HIPAA compliance and in processing medical services claims for reimbursement. Medical claims courses help ensure that medical staff submit claims that are in full compliance with the specific requirements of private and public insurers. This can help providers reduce the number of claims denied due to filing errors and improve both cash flow and staff productivity.

"Our online programs are customized to help individual clients meet the needs of their specific practice environments," said Jim Turner, President and Chief Executive Officer, MediBillers. "By making these programs available through the iQLearning portal, more healthcare providers may have access to timely and high quality services that can help optimize their reimbursement practices."

Scott Clark, Vice President of Innovex eHealth Solutions Group, said, "MediBillers' training programs add another dimension to the range of physician services available through iQLearning.com. We look forward to adding more MediBillers programs to the iQLearning portal as they become available."
